Sit mats for hiking
Every time you stop, cold or wet ground draws heat from you. A sit mat keeps you dry and warm and weighs next to nothing. The foam sit pads simply go down on the ground; the Lito Seat inflates itself like a self-inflating sleeping mat.

Lightest
The Facila Seat in closed-cell IXPE foam weighs 40 g. It doesn't absorb water and slips flat into any rucksack.
Each one unique
The Facila UpSeat is made from XPE and IXPE offcuts from our sleeping mat production, so every sit pad has its own colour mix and a slightly different weight.
Inflatable
The Lito Seat is a self-inflating sit pad with an R-value of 2.1, weighing 110 g. Its underside is non-slip.
Pump sack for sleeping mats
The Pump Air Bag holds 34 litres and measures 70 x 25 cm, packing to 20 x 13 x 5 cm. It closes watertight and fits the valves of our mats, so you can inflate large-volume mats without using your breath. The Aera, Glacio, Coreo and Vasta already come with a stuff sack that doubles as a pump.

Which is your lightest sit mat?
The Facila Seat at 40 g.
Foam or inflatable sit pad?
Foam is ready at once and shrugs off thorns and stones. The inflatable Lito Seat is softer and insulates slightly better at R-value 2.1.
Do I need a separate pump sack?
The Aera, Glacio, Coreo and Vasta stuff sacks already work as pump sacks. Use the Pump Air Bag for other mats, or if you want a second sack for dry kit.
Can I use a sleeping mat as a sit mat?
Yes – just fold up the Mateno Z-Fold. More under foam mats & roll mats.
